At CoWork & Play Camp, we’re ALL CEOs (“Chief Experience Officers”). We come together to swap our focus from what we don’t have in our business and life to what we do have that we can share. And we know from experience that sharing our unique gifts (and challenges) with a like-minded community makes us happier.

We know that working for yourself can be liberating and satisfying. And we know that some days feel unproductive and lonely. In fact, we understand this deeply.

Whether we isolate in a coworking space or on our couch, we begin to miss human connection because we NEED human connection. Superficial "water cooler" conversations don't fulfill this need. We need to belong.

We grow up belonging to our family. In college, we live with friends and feel a sense of belonging to our school. Large companies like Google and Facebook fulfill this need to belong for employees, providing so much more than just a workplace.

But what about entrepreneurs, freelancers and remote workers like us? Where do we belong?! Being a "digital nomad" is a new lifestyle, dependent on and a result of the ability to work remotely and travel thanks to technology. There's little existing precedent for how to foster community for people living this lifestyle.

Our mission is to fulfill this newly created niche need of belonging for people who can work remotely and travel.

We're happier and healthier when we have a community around us, fulfilling different needs for one another. And both the giving and receiving are critical so each member feels both useful and supported. This is the exchange - the SWAP - that makes CoWork And Play Camps so unique.

Stay, work and play with us for two action-packed days (and nights) over a weekend - Dates announced soon - in the heart of downtown Austin. You'll learn how to use smart, honest online marketing to reach more people, convert more browsers into buyers, and align your business with your highest values. But most importantly, you'll make life-long friends, be inspired, and have a BLAST exploring some of the best parts of Austin as a group (this is where the real magic happens)! We hope you'll leave SWAP CoWork & Play Camp with a new level of confidence, in your business and life.

There's a lot more than round tables and keynotes happening at SWAP CoWork & Play Camp. We believe we all need to get out and have more authentic fun! Optional activities and extras offered in the afternoons and evenings may include yoga, stand-up paddle boarding, group runs, arts & crafts, paint & sip, live music, theatre trips & more! And at the start of the weekend, we'll help you get to know other campers and build camaraderie by placing you into teams. Teams earn points by competing in friendly events (like photo safaris, team cheers, amazing race, flash mobs, top chef, etc.) and working together to complete various tasks throughout the week. Please note: some optional activities require an additional fee. You'll sign up & pay for additional-fee activities individually at check-in.

CoWork & Play Camp tuition includes all keynote & swapshops (4 - 5 business/entrepreneurship classes per day), two-nights lodging in downtown Austin (cheaper than any ATX hotel!), breakfast + coffee, welcome mixer (beer + wine) and most activities (team events, night activities, yoga, etc.). Lunch/dinner, nights out & some optional activities are not included (though we encourage you to stay with our group!).
